AI/ML Product Manager & Software Engineer

Aug 2025 - May 2026SPARK! Lab, Boston University

SPARK! is an innovation and experiential learning lab housed in the Boston University Faculty of Computing & Data Sciences. I started as a software engineer working on internal research projects around AI agents and tooling.

I then moved into an AI/ML product management role, leading three cross-functional teams of 13 engineers building AI products for contracted clients.

One of the larger research efforts was a computer vision pipeline for One Acre Fund — we researched and implemented a YOLOv8-based model for crop species classification across thousands of farming acres.

For Haynes Construction, we built an autonomous agent that could interpret natural language instructions and independently execute tasks across their internal systems — reading, routing, and acting on information across the organization, much like a software engineering agent does for a codebase but applied to construction workflows.

We also shipped a natural language search interface for the Boston Public Library's 200K+ item dataset, replacing keyword-only search and letting users query historical documents, images, and maps conversationally.
